I never imagined that I would pursue Graphic Design.

My interests were in nature, conservation, and animals. I didn’t think I could do anything artistic well. It wasn’t until 2020 that things quickly changed.

I took an art fundamentals course in 2019 before the pandemic happened. All throughout Covid I was at home and experimenting with painting. I absolutely fell in love with acrylics and began to paint for my friends and family as I grew in understanding and skill.

Now, I am in no ways an excellent painter, but that encounter with creativity unlocked a desire to create more and find inspiration for new designs. It was through this pursuit that I discovered graphic design.

I have loved learning about graphic design and creating new projects while in school. My favorite part is being able to create print and digital pieces. This journey has been exciting, and I am looking forward to what the future has in store.
